The balance of money transfers in Azerbaijan amounted to $680 million in January-July of this year, Elrad Seydiyev, Director General of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, said in an interview with APA-Economics.
According to him, the country’s favorable external position, the current account surplus, and the increase in foreign currency revenues support the growth of foreign exchange reserves.
Elrad Seydiyev added that a surplus of nearly $9.5 billion was recorded in the trade balance in seven months.
