KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Sunday). According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 152.39, while the selling rate is Rs 152.99.
The buying rate for one euro has been set at Rs 176.06 and the selling rate at Rs 176.75. Similarly, the buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 206.11 and the selling rate is Rs 206.92. The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 187.40 for buying and Rs 188.13 for selling.
Similarly, the Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 107.82 and a selling rate of Rs 108.24, while the Canadian dollar is fixed at Rs 109.72 for buying and Rs 110.15 for selling. The buying and selling rates for one Singapore dollar are Rs 119.13 and Rs 119.60, respectively.
The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.58 and the selling rate is Rs 9.61. One Chinese yuan is fixed at Rs 22.60 for buying and Rs 22.69 for selling. Similarly, one Saudi Arabian riyal has been set at Rs 40.59 for buying and Rs 40.75 for selling, while one Qatari riyal is fixed at Rs 41.82 and Rs 41.98, respectively.
The buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.60 and the selling rate is Rs 4.61. One UAE dirham is fixed at Rs 41.49 for buying and Rs 41.66 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit has been set at Rs 37.30 for buying and Rs 37.44 for selling, while 100 South Korean won is fixed at Rs 10.79 and Rs 10.83, respectively.
The buying and selling rates for one Swedish krona are Rs 15.98 and Rs 16.05, respectively, while one Danish krone is fixed at Rs 23.55 for buying and Rs 23.64 for selling.
The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.42 and the selling rate is Rs 19.50. One Kuwaiti dinar is fixed at Rs 495.98 for buying and Rs 497.93 for selling. Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one Bahraini dinar are Rs 404.21 and Rs 405.80, while those for one Omani rial are Rs 395.80 and Rs 397.36, respectively.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate is also Rs 160.
Nepal Rastra Bank said the exchange rates may be revised at any time if necessary. It added that rates offered by commercial banks may differ from the central bank’s rates, with updated rates available on its official website.
