The Security Service of Ukraine has released exclusive photos and videos of the prisoner exchange, which took place on June 27.
According to the SBU press center, the footage has been released as part of the press service’s statement about the event.
Today’s exchange is the result of the work of the Unified Center for Coordination of the Search for and Release of Prisoners of War under the SBU, the Ukrainian Parliament’s Human Rights Commissioner, the Coordinating Headquarters on the Treatment of Prisoners of War, and other authorized bodies that carried out the instruction of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky

Context and people released during the exchange
The SBU reports that among those released today are seven civilians who had previously been detained by the enemy for providing assistance to the security and defense forces of Ukraine.
According to materials, the released citizens were temporarily held by Russian occupation forces in 2022 during the seizure of Mariupol and events in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Luhansk regions.
The exchange demonstrates coordinated cooperation among responsible agencies and underscores adherence to humanitarian norms during such procedures.
The materials indicate Ukraine’s determination to continue humanitarian efforts and to return citizens from captivity in accordance with international standards.
