KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 151.71 and the selling rate at Rs 152.31.
Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 176.64 and the selling rate Rs 177.34. The buying rate of one British pound sterling is Rs 203.59 and the selling rate Rs 204.39, while one Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 193.83 and sold at Rs 194.60.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 108.64 and the selling rate Rs 109.07. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 109.84 and sold at Rs 110.27, while one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 118.76 and sold at Rs 119.23.
Likewise, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.52 and the selling rate Rs 9.56. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 22.42 and sold at Rs 22.51, while one Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 40.43 and sold at Rs 40.59.
The buying rate of one Qatari riyal is Rs 41.66 and the selling rate Rs 41.82. One Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.66 and sold at Rs 4.68, while one UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 41.31 and sold at Rs 41.47.
Similarly, one Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 38.26 and sold at Rs 38.41. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.07 and the selling rate Rs 10.11. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 16.41 and sold at Rs 16.47, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 23.64 and sold at Rs 23.73.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 19.36 and the selling rate Rs 19.44. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 494.62 and sold at Rs 496.61. Likewise, one Bahraini dinar is being bought at Rs 402.39 and sold at Rs 403.98, while one Omani rial is being bought at Rs 394.05 and sold at Rs 395.61.
The buying and selling rates for Indian currency remain unchanged, with 100 Indian rupees being exchanged at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may differ, and updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
