Steve Broker, an advanced practice registered nurse and certified nurse practitioner specializing in psychiatry, is thrilled to be joining the Essentia Health-Duluth Clinic.
“I completed my schooling at the College of St. Scholastica,” said Broker. “Essentia’s history and relationship to the college made it an easy choice to stay afterwards as both institutions have similar values and aim to create a healthier and more inclusive community.”
Broker is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
“Working in mental health allows you to get to know patients and help alleviate their suffering in a unique way,” said Broker. “Every patient is the main character in their own story. I’m excited to hear those stories and be a supporting character who helps them navigate the curves that life can throw their way.”
