Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank has determined the exchange rate for foreign currencies today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been set at 151 rupees 64 paisa and the selling rate at 152 rupees 24 paisa.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is 105 rupees 56 paisa and the selling rate is 105 rupees 97 paisa, for one Canadian dollar the buying rate is 107 rupees 12 paisa and the selling rate is 107 rupees 55 paisa.
The buying rate for one European Euro is 170 rupees 70 paisa and the selling rate is 171 rupees 38 paisa, for one UK Pound Sterling the buying rate is 202 rupees 19 paisa and the selling rate is 202 rupees 99 paisa.
The central bank has stated that this exchange rate can be revised at any time as needed. The exchange rate set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
