Ahmedabad: A land broker was attacked by four men in Gota on Wednesday night allegedly for asking them to move their vehicles from the middle of the road. Navshil Patel, 37, a resident of Gota, said in his FIR with Sola police filed on Friday that the incident took place near ICB Flora Crossroads in Gota. Patel was on his motorcycle when he spotted a man sitting on his scooter parked in the middle of the road and talking to other men in a car parked close to the scooter, leaving no space for other vehicles to pass. Patel said he went up to them and asked them to move their vehicles to the side. Irked, the men allegedly started abusing Patel and refused to move their vehicles. As Patel objected to the abuses, four men sitting inside the car came out and assaulted Patel. One of them hit him on the head with a steel water bottle, causing him to bleed. Patel was rushed to Sola Civil hospital where a medico-legal case was filed. Sola police filed a case of causing hurt, causing grievous hurt, using abusive words and abetment against the four men.
